The summer is here. Unofficially.
The summer flowers are in full bloom. And the shower now has water at 2 temperatures. Hot and Very Hot. So now I have to store water in a bucket so that I can have my daily dose of a cold water bath!.
The govt. is yet to announce the staggered work hours for the construction workers. That I guess confirms the official arrival of the summer in Dubai

Um, what about the old trick of turning of your water heater? That way, you'll have hot water coming out of your cold water tap and cold water coming out of your hot water tap... Gets all the visitors confused but hey, it works!

Love those trees...I think they're called "Flame Trees". Most common in tropical environments (not usually the desert, I think).
